How We Mine It
Tourmaline is extracted from the same pegmatite bodies found in the Haramosh and Shigar regions, using careful vein mining designed to recover intact crystals — including the bicolor and tricolor specimens the region is known for. This precision matters, since fractured crystals lose significant value.
After extraction, tourmaline is hand-sorted by color zoning and clarity, with the finest specimens set aside for the gem and collector trade before export.
We also emphasize responsible resource management, focusing on reducing waste, improving recovery rates, and ensuring safe handling of materials throughout the processing chain.
