Detail geochemical survey was conducted in northern areas of Pakistan under a technical assistance program. As result of this survey anomalous target of PGE, Au & Ni was identified. n-site exploration activities has also been conducted by MDM to further explore these deposits. These deposits are associated with ultramafic rock sequence obducted along major suture zone. More than hundred samples including stream sediments and rock samples were collected from this target area which contained Pt in ranges 15 to 723 ppb, Pd from 88 to 2275 ppb and Au 7 to 2457 ppb.
