- Topaz
Topaz occurs within the same gem-bearing pegmatite formations that make Gilgit-Baltistan internationally known for its mineral wealth. Gilgistan sources topaz from licensed sites across the region for export to the gem and jewelry trade.
How We Mine It
Topaz is recovered from Gilgit-Baltistan’s gem-bearing pegmatite formations using the same careful vein extraction methods applied to the region’s other gemstones. Site access is often difficult given the region’s terrain, requiring small, experienced crews rather than heavy machinery.
Once extracted, topaz crystals are hand-sorted and graded by color and clarity before being prepared for cutting and export to jewelry and gemstone buyers.
We also emphasize responsible resource management, focusing on reducing waste, improving recovery rates, and ensuring safe handling of materials throughout the processing chain.
Strategic Exploration of Topaz Deposits
Focused surveys and geological analysis to identify rare and high-value mineral zones.
